A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. It lets the site remember something between one page and the next, or between one visit and the next.
The cookie that remembers your choice is set by us. If you accept measurement, Google Analytics sets two more, named in the table below. If we add an advertising tool, its cookies are listed here before it is used.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie_choice | Eighty Thirty | Remembers which cookies you accepted. | 12 months |
| _ga | Measurement. Tells one visitor from another, so we can count visits. | 2 years | |
| _ga_5CY1L0B1DL | Measurement. Keeps track of one visit across the pages you open. | 2 years |
Open Cookie settings at the foot of any page, switch Measurement or Advertising on or off, and press Save. You can also delete cookies in your browser's settings; the next page you open asks again.
